A safety pilot control valve adds safety and convenience to any vented gas log set. A three-position gas control knob is used to light the pilot, ignite the burner, and adjust the flame height. If the pilot goes out, the safety control will shut off stopping the flow of gas completely. When in the burning season, you will only need to light the pilot once with a match or lighter. After that you simply turn the control knob clockwise to ignite the burner. Once out of the burning season, you simply shut off the pilot. The safety pilot control valve allows you ease of use and piece of mind. Note: Many local codes require the use of a safety pilot control valve. This unit is for use with Propane Gas Only.
